On April 2, Donald Trump gave an unhinged speech to the country in which he threatened to destroy Iran and its people and send them back to the Stone Age. He also said that the war would be over in a couple of weeks, and the US military has destroyed their Navy, Army, air defense and they are almost depleted of their missile. To put the lie to Trump’s evil boasting, as the speech was being delivered, Iran unleashed one of its biggest attacks on Israel and US assets in the region and the very next day, Iran shot down a US F15 fighter jet. One of the pilots was rescued but the other is being searched for. During the search operation 3 US helicopters were shot down and another US military jet.
Trump threatened the Iranians with war crimes such as destroying their civilian infrastructure and soon after the speech the US military attacked and destroyed a bridge that is said to be the tallest bridge in that region of the world. US forces also attacked energy facilities and a nuclear power plant. As it normally does, Iran threatened to retaliate in kind.
Hours prior to Trump’s unhinged speech, the Iranian president Pezeshkian wrote a letter to the American people. It once again shows that Iran is sane and defending itself and Trump is crazy and wants to destroy Iran.
